Microsoft has revealed some details on 'Kinect 2', the next-generation motion-sensing camera that will work natively with Xbox One.
It's rebuilt so that working with voice is much more natural. Voice control is "more conversational" and supports more than one player, including the entire family. It can also process 2 gigabits of data per second - it's "rocket science level stuff."
The camera now includes a wider view and a resolution of 1080p. It can record more joints, and even a slight rotation of a wrist or shoulder. It can even detect the transfer of weight from one foot to another - or, while you're exercising, it can read your heartbeat.
