Bioware Not Giving Activision a Break as Call of Duty Disc Dupes Cause Mass Effect Freebies
In a "It's only funny when it does not happen to you" new story yesterday we reported that many people who rushed out to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PC got home to find that disc 2 contained Mass Effect 2. ME2 maker Bioware found out and is making the most of it.

In a burst of what must be seen as good humoured owning Activision and Treyarch up the back doorstep, Bioware has stated that:

"Rumor has it that about a thousand customers who purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops II for PC today were also treated to a surprise copy of Mass Effect 2. If you were one of the affected, chances are you thought it was a mistake, but we prefer to think that it was an omen, and when the universe talks, you should listen.

"If the universe thinks that you should be playing Mass Effect right now, who are we to argue? In fact, we want to help! The first fifty fans affected by this phenomenon to send us a picture holding their special disc 2 will receive a code for a FREE PC copy of Mass Effect Trilogy."

Find out how to make the most of the deal over at Bioware.

Remember, in order to qualify, YOU must be in the picture, and disc 2 of your Call of Duty: Black Ops II must be visible. Got it? Then send your photo to community@bioware.com and you could be playing your very own Mass Effect Trilogy in time for the weekend!

Does anyone unsredtand the term Money-whore ? That's all Activision is. They don't care about us gamers, they just want money money money. Activision is going to suck every last cent they can get out of CoD, and all BF is going to do is improve. I mean, CoD has been using the same physics engine since World At War. And whoop-de-do, the graphics change between World At War/Black Ops, and MW. They release the games so quickly, that they have no time to perfect it at all, and its saddening.
