According to the US TV channel CBS, "Jonathan Blow, probably the most famous video game developer in the world, may also be the most feared." Blow, the maker of Braid, is also the 'Conscience of the industry' and - in this heavily edited video interview he also states that video games are immature.
Blow is interviewed by CBS for no other reason, it appears, than to do-down gaming as he appears simultaneously to big-up his own forthcoming game - The Witness.
"Look. Games are really kind of immature. They're playing in the kiddy pool a lot of the time. We, as video game designers, are creating a significant part of the modern environment, right? And we should be thinking about what that is doing - to everybody," he says. Check out the heavily weighted interview below.
