LucasArts has taken the lid of a new game in the Star Wars franchise that it's describing as "dark and mature" - Star Wars 1313.Dominic Robillard, creative director on the game told
GT.TV, "It's about being a bounty hunter in the most dangerous place in the galaxy, 1313."
'The
wherenow?' you ask. Good question. Level 1313 is 1313 levels from the core of the planet Coruscant. It's also, according to the official announcement, "a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet".
The announcement further tells us, "the game puts players in control of a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy.
Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a hero who uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world."
There's currently no word on platforms or a release date. The first gameplay footage should appear at E3 on Monday.
