DICE Demonstrate Battlefield 3 Co-op Play
DICE showcased the co-op mode of Battlefield 3 for the first time at Electronic Arts' Gamescom press conference in Cologne today. And it looks bloody gorgeous on the PlayStation 3 that the game was demonstrated on too.

Karl Magnus, General Manager of DICE and EA Games' Patrick Soderlund told the world that the highly anticipated first person shooter - which is going head to head against Activision's Modern Warfare 3 later this year - will be the "best, modern warfare experience game this year."

The co-op mode won't be stripped down at all either, featuring ground and air vehicles, missions and "tight urban warfare." A demonstration showed off a level where players must rescue and escort a high-value target away from enemy lines. It's certainly impressive, featuring stunning visuals and fantastic lighting and sound that the Swedish studio is best known for.

Karl also revealed that you will be able to share co-op high scores with friends via the game's online Battle Log.
