While many Sony officials are keeping schtum on the status of PlayStation Network, it appears that the Dutch support team is at least keeping customers in the loop, stating that a number of users are currently testing the service. The official PlayStationNL Twitter feed was
recently updated with this (roughly translated) message: "At the moment, a select group is testing the (PlayStation) Network. Territories: Japan (Asia), Europe and America."
It's not certain if this select group happens to be those with access to the internal developer network that is said to have been
switched on overnight. Sony could well be allowing a small number of end-users to access various features to test it out, but with all the talk of security we wonder if that's very likely.
At the very least, it's refreshing that someone, somewhere is able to answer customer queries. And if the testing goes well, we could see PSN back before we know it.
