SNK issues cryptic bankruptcy statement
Neo Geo company kicking even at this late stage
SNK of Japan has released its first statement regarding its recent bankruptcy to the Japanese press through Enterbrain publishers.
The statement reads like this:
“After undergoing any twists and turns, SNK will draw the curtains to [its] 20 odd years of history this month. To everybody who loved the games by SNK, thankyou very much. And as a beseeching request, we wish that [you] continue to love the games. Because, the future of those who carry our remaining "S" DNA, will start from here. From All Employees of SNK(Inc.)”
We can only assume from this that the wealth of gaming intellectual properties held by SNK will be released into the big wide world to continue to entertain and delight fans.
