Microsoft Loves Up PS3 Hacker

Windows 7 Phone development management all over him

Microsoft Loves Up PS3 Hacker
George Hotz and hacking team fail0verflow responsible for the hack that has circumvented the security encryption process for PlayStation 3 software has been approached by Microsoft's Window Phone 7 development team to work with them.

The offer came via a very public Tweet made by Brandon Watson of the Windows Phone 7 development team yesterday.

"#geohot if you want to build cool stuff on #wp7, send me email and the team will give you a phone - let dev creativity flourish #wp7dev" read the message.

Given that George Hotz (AKA geohot) is still in legal proceedings with Sony over the PS3, this is a pretty brash move from Microsoft's man.

GeoHotz ain't in legal proceedings with Microsoft. So what, exactly, or even roughly, is brash about it?

@Rod_Todd

Publicly flirting with someone who is being pursued by your archrival for perceived criminal actions seems pretty brash to me.

Maybe you don't know what 'brash' means?!

If Geohot had any sense, he'd let his 'creativity flourish' on Android.

Oh how this tool has single handedly stood up for stereotypically American mud-slinging in business.
