Sony's upcoming digital music service is right around the corner, with PlayStation Network VP Eric Lempel announcing that the next PSP system update will include support for the new feature.Firmware v6.35 is "coming soon" and will prepare your handheld for the launch of (deep breath) "Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity" - a cloud-based music service that offers access to a selection of songs to be listened to on the move. Qriocity is basically the spiritual successor to Sony's previous failed music store, Connect.
Along with a shiny new icon to nestle underneath the Music category of the XMB, the new firmware update also marks a significant change to the Media Go PC application. The PSP content management program will be updated with "enhancements to the user interface and advanced photo editing tools." Can you wait? We can't wait.
