Don't look now, but Sony's gone and slashed the price of the PSP Go in the UK once more. The digital-only gaming device now retails on the company's official store at £129.99, putting it in closer proximity to the Nintendo DSi.The portable launched in 2009 with a £225 RRP, which was maintained for a year before £65 was knocked off the asking price
back in October. This new drop comes less than a month after that reduction, and could mean that Sony is getting a little bit concerned about the system's uptake.
Sony, for its part, has claimed in the past that the PSP Go was little more than an experiment to test the waters of digital distribution. With rumours of PSP 2 growing ever larger, we will soon see if the go will be part of a bigger picture. For now though, it remains in a troubled position.
