APB developer in trouble

Confusion Reigns in Realtime World Redundancy Rumours
It looks like troubled times at Scottish game developer Realtime Worlds. The APB creator, which announced a new title last month, is apparently laying off staff in numbers.

Sources are claiming that 60 people have been made redundant. With one source stating that the entire new project team for Project MyWorld has been put on 'gardening leave'.

Develop states that, "the measures were not as drastic – that redundancies will not take place until consultation began on who were surplus to requirements."

No one at the studio was available for comment. We can only hope that things work out well for all concerned.

RTW didn't develop Crackdown 2 by the way, that was Ruffian Games.
