Tomonobu Itagaki wants Less Tech - More Fun!
Declares the end of ‘technical strength’, focus on fun instead
Speaking at Famitsu’s Xbox 360’s 100th anniversary event at Enterbrain’s Winpa event in Japan, Tomonobu Itagaki of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive fame, had this to say about games development: "The era of pursuing technical strength has ended,"
"From here on out," he added, "we should pursue what makes games interesting and fun."
Hopefully this will be incorporated into the upcoming title he has in development with Valhalla Studios, along with the promised technically strong 3D of course, fingers crossed.
