At it's E3 Media Briefing, which is still underway, Microsoft brought out Kojima Productions to show off a new sword-based game mechanic in Metal Gear Solid: Rising.
In a nutshell it involves cutting stuff up with a sword. A lot. A video shown off had enemies, cars and... well, water melons, all being cut up. 'Cut at will', 'Cut what you will', on-screen text told us.
Quite how this will work, however, was not made clear. Hideo Kojima said that they wanted to create something new for the first MGS on 360, but... will it be Kinect powered? Yeah, we hope so too, but they weren't saying. Have a look at the screens in the gallery.
