UPDATE: Microsoft Working To Restore Original Xbox DLC
Removal of game content on Xbox Live was in error.

So we already know that Original Xbox support on the 360 console is on death row. Yesterday, Microsoft confirmed that it removed downloadable content for those games in error.
“We are aware that Xbox v1 users are currently unable to access downloadable content via Xbox LIVE, both for the original console and Xbox Originals on Xbox 360,” a representative told Joystiq. “The team is actively working on resolving this issue so that the Xbox v1 community can continue downloading content until April 15.”
After that date, it's lights out. Not only will the servers for online play be turned off, but all kinds of support will be nixed in general – including DLC. The error is still in effect for those Original Xbox and Xbox 360 owners trying to grab what they can before the shutoff date, but hopefully Microsoft will fix the blip soon.
Only to remove it again.
