Two Call of Duty-related rumours are doing the rounds right now. Handily one relates to Treyarch, while one relates to Infinity Ward.
First up, in a novel use of the word 'confirms', CVG states that it can "confirm that Activision has pencilled in a November release for the seventh Call Of Duty - which will be set in the late 1960s, during the Vietnam War."
Apparently this confirmation comes not from Activision but from "a senior UK trade source" who tells that site that, "It's going to be November again - just as with World At War and Modern Warfare 2".
So, a CoD game for Xmas.
Next up, a "VG247 source" states that, "Infinity Ward is not creating Modern Warfare 3... and is instead working on something 'completely new'".

You guys must be crazy. MW2 is the biggest pile of crap I' ve played. Campers Paradise, S**t Weapons ( Heartbeat sensor ?? WTF ??? ) and which genius decided to keep Last Stand ??? MW1 and W@W are superb. How can you say W@W is s**t when it's exactly the same ( same graphics, same engine, same perks ) as MW1 but in a WW2 setting ?

Ok, I have played a few COD games, the WWII stuff is over played big time, it gets old after awhile, MWF is awesome, I love the story line and hope they do MWF3 to see what happened to Soap and watch the americans invade Russia. oh and EDDIE_BALLIN... you're not a true gamer =\ people who say PS3 is better then 360 or 360 is better then PS3 are dumb. They're not made to see which is better. Gamers play them to have fun and relax, get away from our boring life ^^

@Leo MW2 does suck who in the right mind invented a perk that you can reach 10 feet and stab some1 when ever you have already hit hit with bout 5 bullets and another thing f**king nube tubes are the most annoying thing i have seen. and the game is full of little camping s**ts who are afraid to move

Mwf2 all the way. I love the perks and all that hot s**t. That world at war s**t is over. Go back to the f-ing 60's if u wanna play an old theme game. I need them new weapons not no wood rifles. Yall crazy. More maps more hiding spots (even tho I'm not a camper) that's what heartbeat sensor is for. Mwf2 is like rock paper sisiors. Everything beats the other.

MW2 is a fun game. Its the idiots who play like idiots that cheapen the game. If you remove all the idiots who exploit the flaws in this game, then youd have a very good game. W@W was awful in the sense that it wasnt what COD4 was. The only thing I hear about W@W is the stupid ass zombies. Zombie this.....zombie that. Please, go play Left 4 Dead if you wanna shoot zombies. Zombies have ZERO to do with war.
