Rumour: PSP Minis Playable On PS3 Before Christmas?
French website PS3Gen seems to think so.
For those wishing they could play their PSP games on their PS3, your prayers might be answered in some small form, as there’s a rumour going around that PSP Minis will soon be playable on Sony’s home console.
French website PS3Gen has reported the rumour, with Pocket Gamer following through and discovering that Minis will in fact be playable on the PS3 before Christmas. But take it all with a pinch of salt, eh?
Minis were introduced during the launch of the PSP Go, in an initiative to provide bite-sized iPhone-esque games at a cheaper price point than full PSP games. Despite some quality games, the service doesn’t seem to have taken the world by storm, but perhaps an ability to play on PS3 as well might change people’s minds.
It certainly would be nice to play Pinball Fantasies on the big screen again, after all.
