Apple's rumoured and speculated Tablet (and/or Macbook Touch) is to be gaming device and home media centre according to an unnamed analyst who apparently spoke to the
Barron's financial site.
The device will apparently launch in November following a September unveiling and - again according to the analyst will retail around the $800 (£500) mark. It will come with a 10-inch touch-screen.
Of course, currently the iPhone and iPod touch are touch-screen units that are home multimedia centres (love that BBC iPlayer and, of course, the ability to play music and films) as well as game devices; we are currently enjoying
Ragdoll Blaster.
Apple has not commented.
