A recent survey regarding Skype use by RealWorld RealResearch indicates that the system's functionality on PSP that came all the way back with firmware
update 3.90 has proved a success... at least in Japan.
Reported in
whatjapanthinks, the report shows that, while PC use vastly outstrips everything else for the VoIP system at 97%, the PSP with 6.6% beats even the fixed-line phone (4.2%) and even the Skypephone itself (1.9%).
What laughs they must be having over at Sony Ericsson with the still unreleased
PSP-Phone.
