LucasArts has hinted, with all the subtlety of an asteroid dressed in European rave wear, and smacking into the side of the planet, that its back catalogue is finding its way onto the iPhone.
The company's CEO, Darrell Rodriguez, told
Joystiq, "On iPhone, you know Apple's policy that we can't talk about a release until it's ready to release. But it would make sense that we would do something like that if we were to go in that direction ... wink wink, nod nod."
We'll skip the fact that, yes, of course it would make sense to release old games on the iPhone if LucasArts is going in the direction of releasing old games on the iPhone. We want to get to the fact that he actually said "wink wink, nod nod"! Obviously the man wanted to make sure that what we're certain would have been discreet body language made it into copy.
LucasArts just announced a raft of its older titles
getting released on Steam.
