Hardware News: PSP Go Tech Specs and Pix

Shout out to the tech lovers...

Yes, it's PSP Go time. We've been handed the specs to the little, and we mean little, beastie. For a start, it's actually the 'PSP-N1000'.

Next, it is, apparently, 50% smaller and 40% lighter than the original PSP and has that sliding 3.8-inch display screen. It's Ad-Hoc mode allows for 16 console connections.

Oh, and it has no UMD drive. It does not, however, replace the UMD's PSP-3000, definitely not, which will come as relief to current owners of PSPs, and retailers of UMDs.

So, those specs in full and don't forget the pix on the related images page.

wow! like increasing the clock speed is going to be useful when you're 1:1 compatible with 4 year old PSPs.

i will be buying a psp go but i will be waiting for the right price looking at game preorder price of 229.99
i think it a rip off looking at the 3000 with is 149.99 with need for speed you could get a 16gb Memory Stick PRO Duo for 46.84 so i could get a 3000 plus a 16 card for 196.83 making it 33.16 cheaper with a game and the only difference is the fact that iv got a bigger psp with a umd drive and no bluetooth.
if i was to go get a slim and lite for 109.99 with a game plus the 46.84 for the 16gb card then its a hell of a lot cheaper at only at only 156.83 thats a saving of 73.16 that's all most a 100 notes and lets not get into the 1000 model that i could pick up pre owned for 69.99
