Midway’s open-wheel, high action racing game, Cart Fury has been confirmed for Sony’s next-generation console. Midway Sports decided to lean towards an arcade style, fun but unrealistic approach for the game.
Cart Fury does feature Real kart drivers like Juan Pablo Montoya and real circuits such as Laguna Seca, but adds new fantasy cars and tracks to the mix.
The home version of Cart Fury will boast new game modes such as duel and last man standing. Additionally the boost function, which is refilled each lap, gives an insane temporary boost of speed. The boost adds a tactical advantage and using it correctly can make the difference between winning and losing.
Cart Fury is set to be one of the summer smashes for PlayStation 2.
