Valve has released a new
Team Fortress 2 trailer. It’s funny. Really, genuinely funny. If you don’t believe us watch it. Right below these very words.
Reminiscent of Pixar's excellent The Incredibles, the movie is called
Meet the Soldier and tells you all about, well, the soldier, who’s biography reads as follows:
Though he wanted desperately to fight in World War 2, the Soldier was rejected from every branch of the U.S. military. Undaunted, he bought his own ticket to Europe. After arriving and finally locating Poland, the Soldier taught himself how to load and fire a variety of weapons before embarking on a Nazi killing spree for which he was awarded several medals that he designed and made himself. His rampage ended immediately upon hearing about the end of the war in 1949.
Team Fortress 2 is coming later in Autumn 2007 as part of the Orange Box, which also features
Half-Life 2: Episode Two and
Portal and includes
Half-Life 2 and
Half-Life 2: Episode One on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Basically, it’s either this or
BioShock that are going to snatch SPOnG’s game of the year 2007. It really is that simple.
