Following three months of intensive feedback from its fans, Sports Interactive has updated Championship Manager Season 00/01 Edition and has now made a 'patch' file available through its website.
From feedback received through its website (http://www.sigames.com), Sports Interactive has made the changes that will ensure that Championship Manager Season 00/01 is an even more enjoyable experience for its many fans.
The patch (version 3.89) addresses small issues, such as limiting the number of non-EU players in the Greek league (to six per match), and having the final of the Greek Cup played in the national stadium. It also contains fixes for the few minor bugs that appeared in the first version and contains many player and team data updates, including the transfers of Angel to Aston Villa and Bosnich to Chelsea.
“We consulted our fan base to see exactly what changes they would like to see in Championship Manager Season 00/01,” comments Marc Duffy, Website Manager at Sports Interactive. “We have an incredibly strong community that we communicate with at http://www.sigames.com/, and we are always grateful for all the support and feedback that they give us. It is because of this great relationship that we can improve upon the season 00/01 edition to deliver the game that we know the fans want.”
The patch (along with a full list of the fixes and updates) is available to download at http://www.sigames.com/eng/downloads_official_cm00a.shtml.
