Eidos Interactive announces it has entered into a publishing agreement with Capcom for Spawn: In The Demon's Hand on Dreamcast throughout Europe and Australia. Spawn is based on Todd McFarlane's hugely popular comic book series of the same name. The game is due for release in January 2001.
Spawn: In The Demon's Hand is an arena-based arcade shooter and is a conversion of the arcade smash hit. The game features stunning 3D graphics, simultaneous four-player action and a choice of 32 different characters.
Mike McGarvey CEO of Eidos says: "We are pleased to further our relationship with Capcom with the capture of Spawn: In The Demon's Hand. The game will be one of the first titles of what is a very strong product line-up from Eidos for next year."
Colin Grant, marketing manager of Capcom Eurosoft says: "Capcom's Spawn: In The Demon's Hand has been created in conjuncture with Todd MacFarlane Entertainment and is sure to appeal to Spawn fans or anyone looking for all-out great gameplay. When it launches in 2001, it promises to be yet another great selling Capcom title."
