Croydon-based video game developer HotGen Studios, has completed work on the eagerly anticipated Game Boy Color version of Star Wars: Obi-Wan's Adventures for Lucas Arts Entertainment Company and THQ.Inc.
HotGen Studios' is regarded as one of the leaders in the UK game design and the completion of the Obi-Wan's Adventures continues the firm's expansion as a global development force. Based on the events of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace Obi-Wan's Adventures is an exciting mix of arcade and fighting elements, with players guiding the Jedi Padawan through a sucession of levels seen in the film. Controlling Obi-Wan, players engage recognisable adversaries - including Darth Maul - in running lightsaber battles, while Obi-Wan's mastery of the Force is used to seemingly impassable obtacles.
The game has been developed in close conjunction with Lucas Arts and is just one of many top-level titles set to emerge from the Croydon team.
