Developed by Video System - best known for publishing Official Formula One games for the last eight years and for holding a Formula One license until the year 2006 - F1 World Grand Prix II captures the thrill of the action on the top circuits of the world.
By working closely with the actual Formula One teams, the cars have the exact standards of the real-life competitors and the circuits have been constructed with pinpoint accuracy and class leading graphics.
With a variety of modes to choose from there is a huge variety of gameplay. In the Single Player Mode you compete as if you were in the real grand prix - take your team to the top with a race schedule the same as the actual 1999 FIA Formula One World Grand Prix season. There are even features such as warning flags, jump-start penalty's and black flags, which you can switch on or off depending on your ability. Alternatively you can pit your wits against the computer in Single Race or shave seconds off your time in Time Attack.
In Multi Player Modes you can compete against your friends and a grid of artificial intelligence drivers.
In addition to this you can take a tour of the circuits in Tutorial Mode, which provides useful information such as braking distances and corner names or take on the role of TV director in Broadcast Mode where you can watch and direct a race with Al cars using TV style cameras.
Released by Konami on Dreamcast this Autumn, F1 World Grand Prix 2 is sure to be circuits ahead of other racing games.
