London, 03. September 2000. Leading Japanese software company Konami presents a top class line up of titles across all platforms at ECTS - the most important European trade show for computer and video games held in London from September 3rd to September 5th
Numerous world premieres will be on offer at Konami's newly designed stand (G170). For the first time a playable version of Shadows of Memories for PlayStation2 will be shown to the public. This highly anticipated mystery adventure game demonstrates how Konami plans to offer innovative products from the launch of this new platform.
A large proportion of the stand will be used to display titles for existing platforms. Dancing Stage (known as Dance Dance Revolution in Japan) will be on display, featuring tracks licensed for the European market and a calorie counting exercise mode.
And then there's Metal Gear Solid 2... Huge crowds are expected to gather around the Konami stand to view a brand new trailer for MGS2: Sons of Liberty. Visitors will be treated to a spectacular preview created by Hideo Kojima and his MGS team especially for ECTS. The video will be shown hourly on a huge, high definition LED screen.
Konami will also be premiering all new video material of Zone of the Enders, another game directed by MGS mastermind Hideo Kojima. Mech battling spectacular Z.O.E. has already been recognised as the perfect show piece to demonstrate the capabilities of PlayStation 2.
