Phantagram and Microsoft today made a public announcement that both parties had entered into a Second-Party Distribution Agreement for Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders (KUFTC), an Xbox title developed by Phantagram and to be exclusively distributed in the North American market by Microsoft. KUFTC is to be released worldwide within Q4, 2004, and there will be separate announcements from Phantagram regarding its publisher/distributor information for other regions shortly.

This agreement becomes a landmark, for KUFTC is acknowledged by Microsoft as a world-class second-party title and well exemplifies Phantagram's ability to produce a top-notch game.

Mr. SangYoun Lee, Phantagram's CEO, said, "I am definitely thrilled to get a chance to distribute KUFTC through Microsoft. Working with Microsoft undoubtedly adds more depth and strength to our product development while leveraging Microsoft's expertise in successfully bringing video games to market. I hope KUFTC excites and entertains all the gamers out there."

"It is a great pleasure to announce that one of the best Korean Xbox title is to be marketed by Microsoft in the US. The agreement between Microsoft and Phantagram highlights the core essence of Microsoft's relationship with its partners," said YongJin Son, General Manager of Microsoft Korea. He stressed that, "Microsoft will do its best to provide more and better support for Korean game developers, and I sincerely hope that it triggers more opportunities to introduce Korean games into global market."

KUFTC is a strategic action game of epic scale, with cutting-edge 3D graphics and gritty combat scenes. The player takes the role of a general in a fantasy battleground, fighting alongside his/her troops of warriors, catapults, and even dragons to crush all enemy opposition. There will be up to 150 characters fighting on one screen and each character is modeled with 3,000 - 5,000 polygons, boasting breathtakingly large scale and realistic details. The scenario consists of more than 100 missions and it fully supports Xbox Live function, including "head-to-head" death-match, ranking updates, and feature downloads. More information on KUFTC is expected to be revealed at the upcoming E3 2004, the world's largest electronic entertainment show held in Los Angeles, USA, from May 12th, 2004.
