DJs offer grass roots support to the future of rugby
British computer games publisher Digital Jesters is celebrating the release of its pioneering rugby management simulation by offering a sponsorship deal to a non-professional rugby team.

Digital Jesters will award a substantial sponsorship one exceptional British rugby union team – be that at amateur, non-league, school or youth. Interested teams should in the first instance contact Leo Zullo, marketing director, Digital Jesters (leo.zullo@digitaljesters.com) for further details.

"Pro Rugby Manager 2004 is a game which allows players to test their tactical nouse and discover whether they could emulate the feats of Sir Clive Woodward," says Leo Zullo. "However, this sponsorship will hopefully further the career of future Johnny Wilkinsons. The popularity of rugby in this country has never been higher – and that's reflected in the advance orders we've received for Pro Rugby Manager 2004. We want to ensure the sport remains as healthy as ever, by supporting the players of tomorrow."

Pro Rugby Manager 2004 is released for PC CD-ROM on March 26th 2004 and enables players to take the reins of their preferred team through European and World Championships. Over 15,000 real players are included within the game. Managers can buy and sell players, train their squads and develop match tactics - with matches portrayed in real-time through a detailed 3D engine. Every bone-crunching tackle, every eye-gouging scrum is present in glorious 3D, with managers having to adjust their tactics as the games progress in order to secure victory. Multiplayer modes allow players to pit their teams against each other in individual games or leagues - with an Internet ladder ranking the world's greatest rugby managers.
