Titus announce Kao the Kangaroo for PC CD-ROM - Autumn 2000.
Downing a can of Fosters in the blink of an eye, Kao the Kangaroo is a back leg-stomping third person 3D-arcade game featuring an energetic marsupial with over-developed hindquarters and an eye for a fight.
Armed with comedy-sized boxing gloves, Kao the Kangaroo hops, skips and triple jumps his way across 25 colourful landscapes within five completely different worlds. Along the way, the young Kangaroo faces 20 different enemies including scary bosses, hell-bent on 'huntin' him down mate', at the end of every level.
However, legs like coiled springs aren't the only form of locomotion for this furry bundle of fun: hang gliders, motorboats, snowboards and even a space scooter also add to the game pace and diversity.
Utilising a dynamic camera and an innovative checkpoint system, Kao the Kangaroo offers incredibly appealing gameplay to produce a charming and addictive game that bounds along at breakneck speed. All this is topped off with brilliantly shot real-time movies and unique audio tracks for every level producing an intriguing playing environment and adding to the seamless storyline.
