IN-FUSIO to deliver Vodafone Live! games content to SFR customers
Extending its existing relationship with French mobile operator SFR, IN-FUSIO has been selected to host and deliver Vodafone Live! game content. IN-FUSIO already provides SFR customers with more than 25 mobile game titles, managing the entire hosting and delivery process. Under the new agreement, the IN-FUSIO platform will now support the delivery of Java and VSCL (Vodafone Service Class Library) games through the SFR's portal.

"IN-FUSIO is a close partner of the Vodafone Group, providing games services to customers in Germany, Italy and France. Our platform is designed to address all mass-market gaming platforms (including ExEn, Java, Brew and VSCL), allowing an operator to be flexible in its approach to mobile content," explains Giles Corbett, co-CEO at IN-FUSIO. "We have been delivering game content to SFR customers since March 2002, the decision to extend this delivery to Vodafone Live! customers will see a new wave of titles made available. We are also committed to delivering the best content from leading games publishers such as Gameloft, Jamdat and THQ."

As part of the deal, IN-FUSIO will publish an exclusive SFR game based on the French cartoon character, Michel Vaillant - the heroic motor racing champion. The launch of the game coincides with the release of a motion picture also based on Michel Vaillant. IN-FUSIO's games, including Michel Vaillant, will be available over three mass-market Vodafone Live! handsets: Motorola V525, Sagem my-V65 and the Sharp GX20.

"Our goal is to offer complete flexibility, allowing an operator to provide high-quality, revenue generating content in a means that best suits the existing infrastructure and billing requirements. In addition to our service expertise" continues Corbett.

IN-FUSIO announced mid-October that the number of registered users of IN-FUSIO-based games had reached over five million.
