Football Director kicks-off as the premier Football Management game for Pocket PC and Palm OS
Infinite Ventures, Inc. in conjunction with RW Software today announced plans to release Football Director, the premier football management game for Microsoft Pocket PC in July 2003 to be followed by a version for PalmOS. The companies launched the official Football Director web site www.footballdirector.com, and they are accepting a limited number of requests to participate in the beta test program.

"Football Management games are hot," said Eugene Evans, President of Infinite Ventures. "We believe PDA's and mobile phones are a great new way for fans to tackle their favourite pastime. Now fans can play anywhere, anytime - what more could you want! RW Software has utilised their experience to deliver the challenge of managing your own football team to the world of PDA gaming."

Fans of the glorious game can now manage their own professional football club and control everything from front office, to player selection, to game strategies. Players make decisions about pre-season, match and cup play, attacking play styles, defensive strategies, formations, and levels of aggression. Create teams with hundreds of real players from the English domestic league using 2002-2003 season stats from over 90 real clubs in four divisions. A free update of 2003-2004 season stats will be made available to players in August to celebrate the start of the exciting new season.

Infinite Ventures and RW Software are also excited to announce that Football Director Live, the multiplayer version is in development. Utilizing Infinite Ventures' unique Play-by-Sync technology, which allows owners of mobile phones and PDA's to compete against each other, Football Director Live promises to bring a whole new dynamic to football management games. The first product to use the Play-by-Sync technology, is the multiplayer strategy game Lands of Shadowgate, www.landsofshadowgate.com

Developed by RW Software, Football Director draws upon the company's 15 years of experience creating football management simulations, starting in the early days of play-by-mail. "We're excited to be partnering with Infinite Ventures on the release of Football Director for the Pocket PC. They bring a great deal of Pocket PC publishing experience to the table," explained Roger Womack, RW Software Managing Director. "In addition, the Play-By-Sync technology is a perfect compliment to our game and we're looking forward to seeing thousands of players competing on a world-wide basis."
