Christmas has come early for PC games players, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of CDV Software Entertainment, which has released a free Christmas 3D platform game.
Entitled Santa Claus in Trouble, the game sees everybody's favourite festive visitor in a right pickle, marooned in a strange land, his presents scattered far and wide. It is the player's job to return Santa to his sleigh, collecting all his gifts en route.
Santa Claus in Trouble is a 3D platformer, riddled with puzzles and traps designed to test players' reactions to the very limit. Moving platforms, hostile enemies and hidden icons make this a fab Christmas present for gamers everywhere.
"It's a thank you to all our fans for their support during the year," says Terry Malham, president, CDV Software Entertainment UK. "10 levels of joyful platform-hopping would warrant a full-price release for some publishers. We're delighted to be giving it away to our customers, and wish them all a very happy Christmas."
