Thalamus Interactive Ltd. announced as a new independent UK development studio

Thalamus Interactive Ltd. was unveiled today as a new independent games studio, based in the north east of England.

The company has been established by veteran journalist and games designer Andy Roberts, an all-rounder with some 12 years’ experience with companies such as Future Publishing, Sony Computer Entertainment, and Acclaim. He has worked on several triple-A titles such as Total NBA, Formula 1, Crash Bandicoot, Shadow Man, and Forsaken 64.

Currently specialising in software for the Game Boy Advance, Thalamus Interactive aim to offer a complete one-stop service. “Producing anything from conversions to original products, we can handle every aspect of development,” stated Managing Director Andy Roberts. “Experts in their respective fields, our staff have collectively worked on over forty software titles over the past 12 years, from 8bit products through to cutting-edge PlayStation 2 titles.”

With a proven track record, high standards, bright ideas, and fresh enthusiasm, Thalamus Interactive aims to bring its wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise to every project, delivering quality products on time and within budget.

Additionally, the company aims to reduce product development times through the use of sophisticated core technologies, which also allow demos and concepts to be prototyped extremely quickly.
