Bigben does Capcom

Bigben Interactive, one of Europe's leading independent distributors of interactive entertainment, today announces an exclusive distribution deal with publisher Capcom. The deal grants Bigben Interactive exclusive distribution rights in Europe for two Capcom Dreamcast titles - Heavy Metal Geomatrix and Cannon Spike. The two titles will be added to the Bigben portfolio with immediate effect.

The deal, similar to the one signed recently between Bigben and Sega, will see BigBen distribute Capcom's Heavy Metal Geomatrix and Cannon Spike in France, Germany, Benelux, Spain and the UK. All Marketing, Sales and PR responsibilities for the two Dreamcast titles will be handled internally by their respective divisions at Bigben Interactive.

The agreement outlines Bigben Interactive's continued commitment to the Dreamcast platform, adding further strength to its already impressive roster of releases for the Dreamcast.

Dick Francis (Managing Director, BigBen Interactive UK), commenting on the deal, said, "After our acquisition of the Dreamcast rights from Sega we now have the infrastructure in place to provide complete focus for our rapidly expanding range of Dreamcast software. The deal allows us to bring more great software to a wider audience and highlights our rapid expansion in the console market, an area which will continue to see BigBen Interactive grow in the near future."
