CDV Brings Out Best Of Breed
CDV signs up new Britsoft developer for science fiction combat game.
Get into the thick of the action with Breed, the new science-fiction combat game from CDV Software Entertainment. Breed will test your fast-action skills to the limit and beyond as you battle on foot, in various vehicles, inside and outdoors, in space and on the surface of the earth.
In Breed, the player is set a terrifying objective: to halt the invasion of the biomechanical Breed which are infesting the earth. You begin on the state-of-the-art USC Darwin orbiting the earth and must use any means and any weapons at your disposal. You'll also get to command various vehicles, including those that move freely between orbit and the earth's surface for a different perspective on the gameplay.
Using both a first person and third person viewpoint, Breed is the first game to be developed using Brat Designs' proprietary 'Mercury' engine, which has been in development since mid-2000. Breed will be completed next year and released in autumn 2002 for PC.
