3dfx Interactive, a global leader in developing and marketing 3D technology for personal computers, is celebrating a record-breaking ten months of domination in the UK graphics accelerator charts, as compiled by Chart Track Ltd. Since May 1999, the company's Voodoo3 models have led the chart in the number one, two and three positions. For the last four months, since the launch of the Voodoo3
3000PCI, 3dfx's cards have held the top four slots in the chart.

Most popular of the Voodoo3 range has been the Voodoo3 2000PCI, followed by the Voodoo3 2000AGP, the Voodoo3 3000AGP, and then since December 1999, the Voodoo3
3000PCI.

The sales figures for 1999 show that 3dfx was the leading company in the graphics accelerator market, with a market share of 64 per cent in this highly competitive product sector. And, just three months into the year 2000, 3dfx has actually increased this market share figure.

"These figures show that 3dfx has become one of the most important brand names in the computer graphics market," said Christopher Meredith, director of marketing at 3dfx EMEA. "Customers know that the names 3dfx and Voodoo represent high performance at competitive prices."

"The European market has always been hugely important to 3dfx and the attention that we have paid to customer service and support in Europe is clearly paying off. Having set up a full-service, dedicated European HQ last year, we are ready
to consolidate our leading position even further this year and next."

"It has always been our objective to give our customers the very best possible performance at the most competitive prices," Meredith continued. "The Voodoo3 series has clearly satisfied a need among PC owners; with the Voodoo3 2000
appealing to the entry level buyer, the Voodoo3 3000 for the more
performance-conscious buyers, and both available in PCI versions, to cater for the varying system standards on the market."
