Disney's Future Feature Tie-In Game is Snapped Up By THQ

THQ brings Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire to Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color systems.

THQ today announced an agreement with Disney Interactive to publish Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire for Nintendo’s highly anticipated Game Boy Advance and existing Game Boy Color handheld systems. Based on Disney’s upcoming animated feature film, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, THQ expects to release the title nationwide for Game Boy Color in summer 2001 and Game Boy Advance in winter 2001.

Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire for Game Boy Color allows players to relive the epic adventure of the animated film as they journey to find the lost city of Atlantis. As Milo, Audrey, Vinny or Moliere, players fend off enemies and overcome dangerous obstacles in their adventure to Atlantis. Developed by Eurocom, Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire for Game Boy Color features 14 levels of gameplay, bonus mini-games and puzzles.

Developed by 3d6, Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire for Game Boy Advance engages players as they battle through Atlantis in their attempt to rescue the city from its feared demise. As Milo, the hero from the anticipated animated motion picture, players are challenged in more than 15 levels of gameplay that include familiar environments and characters from the movie.
