Smartdog Make A Sharp Move

The Arcade sports experts have enlisted the aid of brothers Joe and Rob Sharp, former Disney artists, on their new PS2 title, due this autumn. "We detailed the characters background story and gave a profile of what features to include, from that the guys were able to produce visuals to fit" commented art director Ashley Routledge. The brothers both started their careers in the world of animation with Joe beginning work within a local animation studio at age 17, whilst Rob joined Walt Disney Animation Australia, beginning as a trainee. After advancing through the company from animation to layout artist Rob was joined by his brother, and soon after formed the Sharp Brothers Studio. "The Sharp brothers have a solid reputation for high quality work, and are well known for their ability to create characters with personality", stated Smartdog MD Dave Thompson. The brothers have signed an exclusive deal, with the Warwickshire developers, to supply all 12 characters for the latest racer to be born out of the Smartdog Kennel.
