Leading supermarket chain Asda is to stock Sold Out's incredibly successful collection of £4.99 PC games - and will launch the range via a massive four-month promotion starting in March.
Sold Out's guiding principle is to offer consumers the very best games for the very best prices and its £4.99 range has already enjoyed massive success within the games retail sector. The Asda deal will see the supermarket giant introduce 36 Sold Out titles across its stores across a four-month period.
12 titles will be introduced across stores on March 12th and promoted using Sold Out-branded FSDUs, with further batches of 12 titles introduced in May and June. Initial titles will include Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto and TOCA, with each of the 36 games housed in Sold Out's favoured robust DVD packaging and will utilise the .Now installation and online customer support software. Sold Out is now continuing plans to expand the horizons of the £4.99 label.
"With a major promotion with Tesco already scheduled for the end of March, it seems that supermarkets are increasingly keen to stock these impulse purchase priced titles," commented Sold Out Managing Director, Garry Williams. "I would expect to announce some major new retail outlets stocking Sold Out titles over the next few months.
