The agreement seals the synergy between Virtuoso and KOCH Distribution with Virtuoso masterminding product sales & marketing and KOCH Distribution handling the logistical fulfilment into the marketplace.

Already a million selling PC CD success when it was originally released in Germany last year, Hired Team Trial Gold (£24.99), developed by the Russian-based developer New Media Generation, is a critically acclaimed shoot 'em up in the tradition of Unreal Tournament and Quake 3.

In addition to the game's familiar arcade style game play, Hired Team Trial Gold also features an outstanding tactical gaming mode that gives the game an accurate and highly detailed gaming experience. Due to its roots firmly planted in Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament territory, KOCH will be targeting the game as a sure-fire hit with mainstream PC gamers who dabble in the shoot 'em up genre.

"There's a considerable buzz currently flying about with Hired Team Trial," says Kerri Davies, Commercial Director for KOCH Media UK. "The demo has been posted around the Internet for the past 3 months and Games Domain have just posted it on their site. Everyone's talking about how good this shoot 'em up is and if we can repeat the million selling success that it's had in Germany, we'll be laughing."

Also on 23rd March release from KOCH is Blackstar's Oil Tycoon (£24.99), a welcome addition to the popular tycoon management simulation games. Dealing with money and varied aspects of the oil industry, 20 different scenarios make for an in-depth gaming experience. With up to five billionaires to battle against, this could be your chance to become the next Rockafeller.

"There's a certain pedigree with the Tycoon range of games," concludes Davies, "and Oil Tycoon is no exception. We're looking at healthy sales on this title with anyone who is hooked on management simulation games"
