Leading the new batch of titles is Codemasters' legendary Micro Machines V3, wherein minute toy cars race around 3D courses based on household locations. Meanwhile, Sold Out's new deal with US giant Midway sees Hydro Thunder and Mortal Kombat 4 make their budget debuts within Sold Out's already impressive roster of PC titles.
Hydro Thunder is a boat-based 3D racing title, while Mortal Kombat 4 marks the bloodthirsty fighting series' first foray into 3D. War game Uprising II; cutting edge combat flight simulation Joint Strike Fighter; and arcade football title World League Soccer complete the sextet. All six are released on March 30th in jewel or DVD packaging and will include Sold Out's .Now online support service.
"Once again Sold Out has proved that it is untouchable in terms of value and quality," commented managing director Garry Williams. "Micro Machines V3 is a perfect example of what Sold Out is all about. It is an incredibly playable game, has enjoyed huge success for Codemasters and is now available for less than a fiver. Coupled with the likes of Hydro Thunder, Mortal Kombat 4 and Joint Strike Fighter it joins a very strong March line-up - and is just the tip of the ice berg with more announcements to follow shortly."
