Take On The KUF Global Challenge

To celebrate the worldwide release of Kingdom Under Fire, the unique blend of real-time strategy and role-playing, Phantagram (Europe) is organising an online competition to find the UK's best players of Kingdom Under Fire, in both team and individual categories. There will be three preliminary competitions in total, with the first taking place at the end of March.

Prizes to the value of £1,000 will be awarded to the winners of this first preliminary competition, who will also go through to the UK Championship final, where further prizes can be won. From the final, the winner will qualify as the UK representative in the Kingdom Under Fire World Championship, to be held in the winter of 2001.

Entries are invited from both individual players and existing clans, who should email kuf.europe@phantagram.com to register their interest. Registration is free of charge and entrants will then be advised of the schedule for play, with the first games taking place at the end of March. All the games are to be played over Phantagram's dedicated Wargate.net site using competitors' own PCs and their own purchased copies of Kingdom Under Fire.

"Britain has a thriving community of online games players, and we hope for an intense and challenging preliminary tournament," said S D Kim, managing director of Phantagram (Europe). "We want to put forward some very strong UK challengers for the World Championship later this year."

Details of conditions of entry appear below. Anyone who is interested in buying a copy of Kingdom Under Fire will find it on sale in EB, Game and PC World outlets, on PC CD-ROM.

All inquiries regarding the competition should be sent to info.europe@phantagram.com.
