Nickelodeon and THQ today announced the launch of the latest addition to their top-selling Rugrats videogame line, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, based on Nickelodeon's newest theatrical release, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie.

Join the Rugrats gang as they travel to EUROREPTARLAND where they ooze their way through Ooey-Gooey World, go bump in Reptar's Bumper Cars and throw their cookies in the Princess Theatre! Soon our pint-sized heroes are smack in the middle of their biggest adventure yet in a rollicking race against time! With artwork and over 16 action-packed game levels based on Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, kids can re-live the movie over and over on the world's favourite game systems!

THQ's Rugrats adventures for PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color boast sales of more than 400,000 units in the UK alone since March 1999. Rugrats in Paris: The Movie for PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color is based on Nickelodeon's Easter 2001 feature film, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, released nationwide on April 6th.

"THQ's first Rugrats videogames won tremendous critical and commercial success when launched in conjunction with the first Rugrats major motion picture," stated Sarah Bincliffe, UK Marketing Manager for THQ.

The first Rugrats movie, released in March 1999, exceeded $100 million at the US box office, over $160 million internationally and nearly £14 million in the UK, making "The Rugrats Movie" the top grossing non-Disney drawn animation movie of all time on both sides of the Atlantic.

Now Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures have joined forces once again for Rugrats in Paris: The Movie.

In "Rugrats in Paris: The Movie", the gang is headed for Paris! So hold on to your berets, babies! All Chuckie wants is a new mommy. But he barely has time to wish for one when Tommy's daddy, Stu, gets sent to Paris to repair a broken robot in EUROREPTARLAND - and brings the whole Rugrats bunch along. With Paris and the park as their playground, the babies and their new French friends set out to make Chuckie's wish come true. Soon our pint-sized heroes are smack in the middle of their biggest adventure yet, and a rollicking race against time!

Will Chuckie ever get his wish? Will the Reptar robot rise again? Will the babies leave Paris still standing? See the movie and find out! "Rugrats in Paris - The Movie" will be released in over 225 cinema screens throughout the UK and Eire from 6 April 2001.
