Born in Mobile, Alabama, and formerly a VP at DWANGO (Dialup Wide Area Network Gaming Operation), Mike went on to co-found and direct well-known software house, GOD (Gathering of Developers). As the man responsible for the Blair Witch Series, Rune and Kingdom Under Fire, he is striving to provide a balance in the publishing versus development struggle. He believes doing so would create a “righteous” path for the brilliant talent in our industry to reach their audience.
Mike Wilson's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1995 title, "The Ultimate Doom Trilogy" (PC) as Marketing/PR. Of the titles listing Mike within the credits , "Max Payne" (PS2), "Max Payne" (PC), "Deus Ex" (PC), "Duke Nukem Forever" (PC) and "Nocturne" (PC) have been best selling titles.
