Mark Digger

Got info on Mark Digger?
Born: Dec 1980

At a very early age I was lucky enough to be introduced to an Atari 800XL (look what you've done dad!) Had a misspent youth sitting in front of a screen that screamed at me as it loaded from the tape drive!
Spent a large amount of my early gaming years playing the likes of Pole position, Leapster, Draconus and Scooter, Along with countless other games I had to save my weekly pocket money for (thanks to my brother for going halves with me, I'm sure you could have found

much more interesting things to spend your 20 pence pieces on) and not forgetting the days spent in the back rooms of pubs scrounging off my parents for an extra go on space invaders/asteroids/Tempest/Missile
Command etc). Before being introduced to Nintendo and then spending many years in the world of Castlevania and Mario

This then paved the way for never being taken seriously at school when asked "what do you want to do for a living when you grow up"
always replying with the answer
"A. I don't want to grow up and
B. I want to test computer games for a living"
which was always followed by giggles and the answer "that's not a real job"

After many attempts to be taken seriously I was given a break in 2002 at Data Design Interactive and this became my first steps into the industry, gaining experience with how games are produced, after around a year I then I moved onto Blitz Games and have also had a very brief stint at Codemasters.

Working as many hours as humanly possible I have now moved from QA into Design, which comes as a pleasant experience and well worth all the heckles and sneers from all those I grew up with.......look at me ma!
I'm (almost) on TV!
