Sony Worldwide Studios head Shuhei Yoshida has been giving little gifts of gaming joy on Twitter since the Sony E3 press conference, revealing that video services will not be locked behind PlayStation Plus and that only one PS4 account needs to be a subscriber in order for every user to gain online multiplayer access. In response to a
question on Twitter that read, "Will Netflix, Hulu etc. be behind the PS+ paywall on PS4?" Yoshida replied simply with, "no". So that's that then. The only change to PS+ is online multiplayer, and nothing else.
But those who share a PS4 with family and friends will be able to spread the benefits with only one PlayStation Plus subscription.
When asked, "If i buy a playstation plus membership to play online will the other accounts on my ps4 be able to play online?" Yoshida responded, "yes".
