Microsoft is taking the opportunity to snatch some attention away from happy Wii U customers by announcing a near-worldwide Xbox Live Gold freebie weekend. Don't expect anyone from Europe to listen though - the continent is one of the only regions that's not participating in the festivities. From today until the end of Sunday December 2, Xbox Live Gold services will be free to all Xbox 360 users in the following regions: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States. Basically, everywhere in the whole damn world except for Europe.
What gives, Major Nelson? "We alternate what regions are unlocked on a varied basis. It all equalizes out in the end."
Well, that's no explanation really. Oh well, we'll just get back to our Wii Us then. Thanks, anyway.
