Oooh, get your handbags ladies - this is war. LOVEFiLM, anticipating the arrival of Netflix in the UK today, has reminded everyone of its streaming-only service called LOVEFiLM Instant - and today has undercut its US rival's monthly subscription fee by £1.
The Amazon-owned service released a statement this morning celebrating the fact that it had reached two million subscribers. The "introductory" price of £4.99 a month for the stream-only option isn't yet effective on the official website. It may well be implemented later today.
