Miyamoto: Games Are Not Art
Games legend Shigeru Miyamoto has been in town recently to accept his BAFTA Fellowship award - an accolade given to other figureheads in cinema such as Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick.

"It's a great honor that my name might be listed as a fellowship member along with such a great director as Hitchcock," he said to the Associated Press humbly.

But those looking to argue the artistic values of computer games should turn away now, as Miyamoto said he sees himself more as an entertainer. "I have never said that video games (are) an art," he said.

The epic debate between art and not-art continues... probably for centuries to come.
